Gabriel was Chantal's principal when she first started teaching in 1979. Gabriel was the best principal Chantal (or anyone else, for that matter) ever had.
We spent the day on Shaw Island.

Given the chance, I would like to write and express everything I could possibly say about Mr. Jacobs, as a principal and as someone who helped create and shape the way I think. However, at age 41 I cannot possibly expect to have 100 years ahead of me to do so.
Instead, let me just say: Mr. Jacobs, thank you. Thank you so very much, for taking the time. For all of the dedication and determination, and very likely for all the gray hairs suffered during a few years back in the late 1970's. Thank you for not letting me slip through the cracks. So much of what I have today, I owe to those who helped me when I was young. You and Chantal are two such people. Thank you, forever.
